Here is an interesting story over at CNET, seem a man beat a speed ticket with his mytracks app on his Motorola Droid. I have now put it on my droid. I drive through a town known as a speed trap, on my way to work. I got my first and only ticket in this town. They said I was doing 40 in a 30.I did not think I was but had no way to prove it. Now I will know for sure.
The only hesitation is I see big brother staring over my shoulders when I use this kind of apps. I guess I am a little paranoid about somethings. But if this keeps some little town from using me to help fill a budget gap it will be worth it!
